In general the grill / recreation area is open to all Mews and Manors residents on a first come first served basis, meaning that no reservations are required.  However, we realize that sometimes you want to have a special event with friends/family and would like to reserve the grill / recreation area.  This form is the only official way to do so and there is no fee to do this as long as you agree to the following guidelines (and fill out the form below).

General Rules:

1) The grill / recreation area must be left in the same condition as it was just prior to your reservation.

2) Reservations should be made at least 7 days in advance (shorter is ok but it may not get posted on the notice board in time).

3) No more than 2 reservations in any 30 day period are allowed.

4) Reservations can not exceed 2 hours in duration (3 hours total - allowing time for setup/cleanup).

5) You may not charge admission/fee to any event using the grill / recreation area.

6) The Mews/Manors resident making the reservation must be present during the entire reservation.

7) No 'structures' (such as 'moon bounces', tents, etc) may be placed/setup upon the recreation areas - if there is any doubt whether something may be permitted please ask in advance.

8) We recommend that you make up some signs of your own and post them on the table near the grill and/or stones near the grill no earlier than 3 hours prior to the reservation.  The sign can mention that the grill / recreation area is reserved and the time of the reservation (and that the official confirmation of this is in the notice board near the recreation area).


DISPOSING OF ASHES - please do not dispose of HOT ashes (you should leave them in the grill).  Please dispose of OLD ashes prior to making new ashes.  To do this you may 'turn' the grill slightly so that the right side comes out over the stone pavers.  There is a 'side door' on the right side which you may lift up and push the ashes out of the grill through it.  There should be a METAL trash bin near the grill which you can push the ashes into until they fully cool off (1-2 days) before placing them in the regular trash can.

EMPTYING THE TRASH CAN - If the trash can is full (or near full), please take off the top, take out the bag, tie the bag and throw it away in one of the Manors trash cans (along the sides of the condos) and then take a new bag out of the bottom of the can and secure it using the two 'latches'.  If there are no more trash bags please email us at [email protected] and we will obtain more (also you can temporarily ask the pool lifeguard for some replacement bags during the summer).
